Session Overview

Hard Hats & High Tech: Modernizing Assets with SAP and Biometrics
In the world of heavy industry, mining, and manufacturing, the “digital divide” is most felt on the shop floor and in the warehouse. While the boardroom enjoys real-time analytics, field technicians and procurement officers often struggle with paper-based work orders and high-risk manual processes. LinxAS, and BioLock will provide a deep dive into the modernization of the asset lifecycle. This session demonstrates how to bridge the gap between the field and the finance office by deploying Ruggedized SAP Kiosks that allow unconnected workers to execute work orders and request spare parts instantly. We will further explore how to eliminate procurement fraud and “ghost” maintenance entries by embedding Biometric MFA (BioLock) directly into SAP EAM and MM modules. Discover how to gain 100% visibility into your supply chain and asset health while ensuring that every transaction—from a high-value purchase order to a critical safety inspection—is authenticated by the right person at the right time.
Automating the Edge with SAP AI and Biometric Security
Moving beyond the “what” of Artificial Intelligence, this technical deep dive explores the “how” of deploying an autonomous enterprise tomorrow morning. This will be a live whiteboarding and “Use-Case Solv-a-thon”. We will tackle the technical bottlenecks of the digital divide, demonstrating how to build a “Data Clean Room” to fuel SAP’s AI engines. This interactive session features a live video forum—powered by SAP AI video tools—to showcase real-time integration between ruggedized kiosks and the SAP environment. We will explore predictive intelligence for anticipating system failures and the critical role of biometric MFA in ensuring that automated AI processes never bypass human authorization protocols. Attendees will participate via live polling to choose which technical deep-dives we explore, from predictive maintenance to secure procurement automation.
