The Human Operating System: Upgrading for a New Era
If you joined us for our She Breaks the Law session last year, you’ll remember it was about recognising and harnessing our core human skills – our “human hardware” – that AI won’t replace. This year, we’re excited to delve deeper into how legal professionals can intentionally cultivate, protect, and strategically deploy their unique human advantage, focusing on optimising our “human operating system” for the age of AI.
Whether you were able to attend our session last year or not, we truly believe you won’t want to miss this practical session. We’ll be looking at how to actively safeguard cognitive sovereignty, navigate techno/change-stress, and make conscious choices about when and how to integrate AI – all to ensure we remain the architects, not just the users, of technological progress. This is about thriving, not just surviving, alongside AI.
Key themes we will cover:
• Cognitive Sovereignty: Reclaiming attention and critical thought in a distraction-rich, AI-saturated environment
• Techno-Stress & Digital Wellbeing: Strategies for managing tech overwhelm and change fatigue – and maintaining our well-being and performance
• The AI-Human Nexus: When To and When Not to Use AI: Identifying high-value human interaction points and defining “when to” and “when not to use AI”
• The Human Advantage Reboot: Cultivating the authentic human qualities that drive true innovation and client connection
