SAP SuccessFactors has a great but not very well understood or utilised solution for manging acting assignments and higher duties assignments. However, when it comes to making this work with payroll, the standard can leave a few things to be desired. Fortunately this is a nut that has already been cracked, let’s have a look at how we can use this great functionality and make it work for you!

Even the world of HR isn’t immune to the expectation of businesses for the ability of AI tools to improve solutions, but when the reality of companies having multiple non-SAP systems that house important HR related information hits, how can we respond? We’ll talk about and some demonstration examples of how we can build and use custom Joule “skills” to get information to and from external systems that are SAP and show them inside of standard SAP SuccessFactors.

SAP (and Chris himself, to be fair) will tell you that moving to SAP SuccessFactors will make your team and your employees’ lives so much easier and better. But that doesn’t mean that every problem you currently have with your ECC6 HCM/Payroll solution is going to go away, some of them even get a little worse (if you can believe that). Chris will talk about how some companies he has worked with have solved some of these challenges by adopting SAP BTP extensions, showing how, for example, one company saved over 3000hrs of effort in one year just from adopting some BTP tooling to make creating and managing work schedules in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Payroll easier. We will look at this and some other examples of where using BTP tooling has solved big problems and resulted in big efficiencies.
