Session Overview

From Programs to Performance: Rethinking Women’s Development for Measurable Impact
Seeing the Invisible
Leadership development has long focused on what is visible, skills, knowledge, behaviour. But Google’s Project Aristotle and Microsoft’s Viva Insights reached the same uncomfortable conclusion: the conditions that actually determine whether a leader performs, grows, or stalls are largely invisible. And almost no organisation is measuring them.
This session explores the human intelligence gap, what it costs, why AI is making it more urgent, and what becomes possible when organisations finally start to see it. YuGrow and Vodacom share what happened when they stopped asking “how do we develop our people?” and started asking “what are we not seeing?” — and what a 50% promotion rate in one cohort revealed about the invisible conditions that leadership development has always missed.
