Session Overview

Bring Work Forward, Not People Back – How to Build Hybrid Teams That Actually Works – Lessons Learnt and Insights
Many companies are forcing employees back into the office without fully understanding why. This reactionary approach ignores a fundamental truth: work is not a place, the rules have changed.
At LegalWise, we have taken a different path. Instead of reverting to outdated office-centric models, we intentionally evolved our hybrid and remote working strategy, focusing on employee well-being, mental health, EVP enhancement, and DEIB relevance in the digital age. In this session, I’ll share our journey, the decision-making process, the dos (and don’ts), and the key initiatives that have made our approach successful.
A core component of our strategy has been Time to Think™, a methodology that has transformed both virtual and in-person meetings and engagement sessions —fostering deeper engagement, psychological safety, and independent thinking. I’ll also discuss why simply bringing people back to the office without defining what your culture is and why you are doing it is a critical mistake.
Attendees will leave with practical insights on how to craft a hybrid work model that drives employee satisfaction, productivity, and organisational success—while avoiding the pitfalls of top-down return-to-office mandates.
Join this session to gain actionable strategies for building a future-ready, people-centered workplace that truly works.
Three Tangible Learnings
Learning 1: How to design and implement an evolved hybrid and remote work model that enhances employee well-being and engagement.
Learning 2: How Time to Think™ can transform meetings and 1:1 interactions, fostering a culture of psychological safety and independent thinking.
Learning 3: Why forcing employees back to the office without redefining culture is a mistake—and how to build a purpose-driven, inclusive work environment instead.
